Hello all! Here’s my video tutorial for converting the Memory quilt block for paper piecing using Quilt Assistant. If you have questions just post a comment here or contact me via email. Just to jog your memory (hahahaaa) here’s what the block looks like.
And if you really REALLY want to just skip to the end, here’s the pattern all finished without any brain energy expended on your part. Pfft.
Here are some free PDF printing utilities for Windows.
And here are the standard DPI’s for your Quilt Assistant preferences.
- Older Macs and cheaper monitors – 72 DPI
- Newer Macs, some current PCs and more expensive monitors – 109 DPI
- Retina display Macs – 144 DPI
Chances are your display uses one of these numbers, so try them first and see how they work before you deal with fiddly calculations.
Anyway here’s the tutorial. Don’t laugh too hard at me. 🙂
