Oh. Em. Gee. I love llamas. Their little faces are SO FREAKIN’ CUTE. That is the pure and simple reason I made this pattern. Llamas should rule the world, then we’d all be happy all the time and have buck teeth. Also I love the movie The Emperor’s New Groove.
Fabric I used for my version includes Kona curry, Kona Natural, Mama Said Sew sewing instructions, aqua pompoms (squee.) and I used a Pat Bravo Indie print on the back.
Here’s the pattern.
And here are more awesome homegrown publicity shots.

The only thing that I’m really not satisfied with is his smirk. I really wanted him to SMILE but I just couldn’t do it without a Y seam or lots of tiny pieces. So smirk it is.
Clicky clicky. You know you want it.
Seriously SO awesome!!!
He is just adorable!!! Great job, Sarah!
Seriously cute! And really, everyone should have at least one llama pillow in their home! Just finished trying out your awesome arrow pattern, might need to pop over and pick this one up!
Oh thank you! And I completely agree, llamas for every home! Hoorah! I’d love it if you’d send some finished pics for me to share, you wouldn’t believe how many projects I DON’T get to see! 🙂 sewwhatsherlock[at]gmail.com
Seriously cute! I like the smirk – especially if it means avoiding y-seams 😉
Awww!!! So cute! Love it!
I bought my fabric for this today and I am SO excited to work on it. 😀
Woohoo! I can’t wait to see it! If you downloaded your pattern before July 24, please redownload it, I had to make a revision. Thanks!
Well, I finished my Leonard and now I feel like I need to make a whole couch full of pillows to accent him. 🙂 Thank you so much for designing this pattern! You can spot him at http://sewmuchmischief.blogspot.com/2013/09/the-most-amazing-llama-pattern.html
Yay, that’s awesome! I read your post, thank you SO MUCH for all your kind words! I’ll share your llama the next time I do a Spotted in the Wild post, sometime later this week. Thanks, he looks amazing! <3
